Affinity Group Underwriters is a unique company specializing in the development, distribution and management of successful affinity group benefit programs. We operate as:

- with the capability to be a complete outsourced affinity markets department on behalf of insurance carriers. Our compensation is directly related to the profitability of the business we produce and manage.
   

Our managing underwriter services include:

  • Affinity program creation and management
  • Case and individual underwriting 
  • Pricing and actuarial support 
  • Compliance and reporting 
  • Policy and premium administration 
  • Claims oversight management 
  • TPA management 
  • Broker and distribution management
  • Creation and execution of direct response marketing campaigns
When we act as a managing underwriter, our compensation is part of the normal carrier operating expense - not an additional layer. We substitute for, or supplement, the carrier's in-house affinity markets department. As a smaller specialist company, our operating costs are low which can help produce more competitive pricing.

- creating and bringing to the market new insurance products adapted specifically for direct response distribution to affinity group members. Our staff has the experience and the skills to:
  • conceive or evaluate new product ideas; 
  • analyze need and marketability; 
  • price and provide actuarial support; 
  • draft policy language and contract terms; 
  • make filings and obtain state regulatory approvals;

Through a strategic alliance, Towers Affinity Benefit Services (TABS), a division of Towers Administrators, Inc., we can provide a full suite of third-party administrator services, including:

  • policy and certificate issue
  • premium administration
  • customer service
